Tigers

There are between two and five kittens in a litter. The young kittens stay with their mother untill they are three years old, while she teaches them to hunt for themselves.

The coat of the Bengal tiger has a ground colour of tawny yellow, with black stripes on the body and limbs, the tail also being ringed with black.
