The number of canine leptospirosis cases has risen dramatically in recent years, impacting urban and rural dogs. Leptospirosis is a potentially life-threatening disease, and is now the number one infectious cause of acute renal failure in dogs. Leptospirosis may pose a zoonotic (transmissible) risk to owners.

Protex-3 for use in CATS only. For Feline Rhinotracheitis-Calici-Panleukopenia Vaccine. Contains 25 - 1 mL vials of diluent. Administer 1 mL subcutaneously or intramuscularly in healthy cats as early as 8 weeks of age, revaccinate with a second dose 3-4 weeks later. Cats less than 12 weeks of age should be revaccinated at 3-4 week intervals until 12-16 weeks of age. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended. Store at 35-45 degrees Fareinheit. It is generally recommended to avoid vaccination of pregnant queens. Contains gentamicin. Burn vials and unused contents.

Indications: Recommended for the vaccination of healthy cats 6 weeks of age and older for prevention of disease due to feline rhinotracheitis, calici, and panleukopenia viruses. Dosage: Reconstitute the lyophilized vaccine with accompanying liquid diluent and aseptically inject 1 ml (1 dose) subcutaneously or intramuscularly into healthy cats. For primary vaccination, revaccinate with a second 1 ml dose 3 to 4 weeks later. Cats younger than 12 weeks of age should be revaccinated with a single 1 ml dose every 3 to 4 weeks, the last dose given at or over 12 weeks of age. Revaccinate annually with a single 1 ml dose.
