Baboon

The baboon is part of the monkey family. They are considered to be the most intelligent. Baboons are very strong and become very dangerous when angry.

Badger

Badgers live in burrows or 'sets' and are usually only seen at night. They live on roots, bulbs, eggs, worms and mice.

Bandicoot

The bandicoot looks like a much smaller version of the kangaroo. They are about 30 cm long and live in hollows or burrows. Bandicoots eat roots, berries and insects.

Barbary Ape

The barbary ape is a member of the monkey family but they do not have tails.

Barbary Sheep

Barbary sheep are related to goats. They have long tails and long horns.

Beaver

The beaver has has a wide paddle-like tail and webbed feet which help to make a good swimmer. The European beaver makes its home in burrows on river banks and the American beaver makes dams of logs and branches across small rivers.
